► Brief Introduction

It’s better to place electrodes on skin over ribs or cartilage to avoid interference resulting from movement of soft tissues.Make sure that all electrodes are connected to the patient correctly before operation. Ensure that the conductive parts of electrodes and associated connectors, including neutral electrodes, do not come in contact with earth or any other conducting objects.

► Chest Electrodes Connection

1. Ensure that the electrodes are clean;
2. Clean the electrode area on the chest surface with 75% alcohol;
3. Daub the round area of 25mm in diameter on each electrode site with gel evenly;
4. Place a small amount of gel on the brim of the chest electrode’s metal cup;
5. Place the electrode on the chest electrode site and squeeze the suction bulb. Unclench it and the electrode is adsorbed on the chest;
6. Attach all chest electrodes in the same way.

Long-time measurement with a strong negative pressure on the suction bulb may cause reddening of the skin. When using the electrode on kids or patients with delicate skin, squeeze the suction bulb lightly.

► Inspection Before Power-On

• Make sure that all electrodes are connected to lead wires of the patient cable correctly.
• Ensure that the chest electrodes do not contact with each other.

► Electrode Connectors and Their Identifiers and Color Codes

Align all lead wires of the patient cable to avoid twisting, and connect the lead wires to the reusable electrodes . Firmly attach them. The identifiers and color codes of electrode connectors used comply with IEC/EN requirements.
