Cordierite honeycomb substrates for SCR denox catalysts provide selective catalytic reduction technology that converts NOₓ emissions into harmless nitrogen and water at optimal temperatures of 270-400°C.

Commercial SCR catalysts utilize titanium dioxide (TiO₂) substrate with vanadium pentoxide (V₂O₅) as the primary active component. Tungsten trioxide (WO₃) and molybdenum trioxide (MoO₃) serve as auxiliary components to enhance oxidation resistance and anti-poisoning performance.
