The floating oil seal is in the planetary reducer of the walking part of the construction machinery to dynamically seal the end face of the part. Because of its high reliability, it is also used as a dynamic seal for the output shaft of the dredger's bucket wheel.

This type of seal is a mechanical seal, which is generally composed of a floating ring made of ferroalloy material and a matching nitrile rubber O-ring.
