Power Management
Battery Operation
The instrument includes two rechargeable lithium-ion batteries providing extended field operation. Battery mounting involves aligning the tenon with the instrument notch and pressing the clamp until clicking into place. The battery indicator displays power conditions with audible alerts when recharging is needed.
Charging Procedure
Connect the charger to 100-240VAC power supply (indoor use only). Red lamp indicates charging, green lamp indicates completion (typically 3-4 hours). For optimal performance, new batteries require several charge-discharge cycles and extended charging beyond the green light indication.
