RTD Introduction

RTD usually use a platinum thin film resistance element to sense the temperature. It is more accurate and more linear than thermocouples and generally slower responding. It is usually measure the temperature range of -200~600°C, connected with display instrument, recording meter and computer, etc. to directly measure temperature of liquid, gas, solid surface.

The thermo element of RTD is made by metal wire. If there is temperature gradient in the measured medium, the measured temperature is an average temperature of element in the range of the medium zone.

1. RTD description

Industrial integrated RTD is mainly composed of temperature sensing element, temperature probe, transition protection and signal cable, and equipped with installation and fixing devices.

1.3 Installation and fixing device: The installation and fixing device is for users to install and fix thermal resistor. It is divided into various forms, such as no fixing device, fixed thread, movable flange and fixed flange.
