Metal Raschig ring is a kind of Raschig ring packing. It has an equivalent diameter and height. This type of Raschig ring is mainly made of carbon steel or stainless steel. The metal Raschig ring performs well in gas-liquid distribution due to its large flux and low resistance. Compared with plastic Raschig ring, metal Raschig ring has higher strength and better rigidity. Although the shape of the metal Raschig ring is the same as that of the metal Pall ring, the mass transfer efficiency and processing capacity of the latter are much better.
