◎Introduction
NH8002 and NH8507 are polyester resins with high and low acid value respectively, which are used in polyester/TGIC powder coating system. After NH8002 and NH8507 are respectively made into powder, they can be dry mixed to manufacture outdoor semi-gloss powder coatings.
Nowdays, thermosetting powder coatings are widely used to coat many different articles. Most of these powder coatings could provide coating films with high gloss after melted and cured, typically equal to or greater than 90% gloss.
In recent years, as users' perceptions of film gloss have changed, the demand for powder coatings that can provide good quality coatings and have low gloss is growing, for example, for coating certain accessories in the automotive industry, such as wheels, bumpers, etc., or to coat metal sheets and beams used in construction.
