How to Identify Bellows Styles
If you know the OEM number, you can order the part using the corresponding assembly order number (eg W01-358-6949). Before you confirm the order, we will also send the drawings to you for further confirmation.
If you don't know the OEM number, please follow the series of steps.
1. Multi-bellows style
First, determine if it is a single convoluted, double convoluted, or triple convoluted style. Next, measure the seal plate diameter and the bellows diameter in the widest (outgassing) area and record these dimensions.
4. Rubber bumpers?
Many airbags contain a rubber bumper inside the bag. To determine if it is present, compress the bag to its minimum height and measure the distance from the bottom plate or piston to the top of the closure plate.
6. Multi-bellows style (closed plate).
The same bellows is used with many different cover plate combinations. Is it really a bolt/stud or a blind nut, and the distance between the mounting threads, the location of the air hole (center or offset)
Once you get these data, you can send the data to us, we will send the corresponding drawings to you for confirmation, you can confirm these data with "section view", "top view of cover plate" and "bottom view of cover plate" , once confirmed, the part can be ordered.
