AIRSUSTECH Air Bellows Characteristics
- Air bellows are a perfect solution for applications requiring short stroke and high-thrust single-acting actuators. They are constructed from fabric-reinforced synthetic rubber, available in models with one, two, or three convolutions depending on the required stroke length.
- Unlike conventional pneumatic cylinders, air bellows operate without reciprocating metal parts, delivering virtually frictionless thrust for greater efficiency and reliability. All models are designed as single-acting actuators, with the return stroke typically powered either by the natural spring action of the bellows or the weight of the load itself.
- Thanks to their simple yet robust design, air bellows offer an exceptionally long service life with minimal maintenance, even under demanding operating conditions. Additionally, they are well-suited for vibration-related applications, such as high-frequency device feeders.
