Operation Principles of AIRSUSTECH Convoluted Air Bellows

Inflation:

1. Compressed air is pumped into the bellows via the inlet valve, causing it to expand vertically.
2. The single convolution allows controlled radial expansion, maintaining a compact profile.

Load Support:

1. The pressurized air inside the bellows creates a "spring" effect, supporting the applied load (e.g., vehicle chassis, machinery).
2. Stiffness is proportional to air pressure: Higher pressure = stiffer spring rate.

Compression:

1. When a load is applied (e.g., hitting a bump), the bellows compresses, reducing its height.
2. The single fold flexes inward, absorbing energy and dampening shocks.

Rebound:

1. As the load decreases, the air pressure pushes the bellows back to its original shape, returning stored energy.

Adjustability:
