Installation Guide: Flange Ring on Rubber Bellows
- Before connecting the flange to the rubber bladder, inspect the flange for protrusions and burrs. Smooth any minor imperfections with a file or cloth. Use a gasket if necessary.
- Lay the two pipe fittings flat on a horizontal surface. Place the fixed end flat, then rotate the flange on the rubber joint to align the flange holes. Insert bolts and tighten nuts.
- Install bolts in the correct direction to prevent misalignment, centrifugal force, offset, or stretching during operation, which could cause damage to the rubber bladder and bolts.
