The inputs are electrically isolated from the rest of the circuitry.For supplying transmitters and other devices, a voltage of 15 V or 24 V DC is available for each input, also electrically isolated. The module contains three identical function units. The outputs are separated. This module is used for converting and multiplying analog signals. The module is designed to process input signals of a level of 0...20 mA or 4...20 mA or 0...10 V DC, the ranges being selected by means of jumpers. From the input signal, three output signals of 0...20 mA or 4...20 mA are formed which can be selected individually by using jumpers; also a signal of 0...10 W is formed.

 

The ABB 89AS30 analog input module is a type of module used in ABB Advanced master control systems. It has 8 channels and can receive 8 different analog signals from sensors and other devices. The module is specially designed for harsh industrial environments with high accuracy and reliability. The 83SR04C-E module supports a variety of input types, including voltage, current, resistance and thermocouples, making it suitable for a wide range of application scenarios, including temperature and pressure monitoring, liquid level sensing and flow measurement. In addition, the module also has built-in diagnostic functions that can detect input signal faults and problems with the module itself, providing useful information for troubleshooting.

 

 

The module contains prototype-tested relays with positively driven contacts. The contacts of relays K1, K2, K3 are divided into two circuits and wired in 2-out-3 sequence according to the open circuit principle (external jumpers B18-B20). Auxiliary contacts can be used to query the individual relay positions. Relays K4, K5 and K6 can be used free of charge. K4 can be used, for example, for emergency trip push buttons of a certain protection circuit based on the closed or open circuit principle. In this case, the required jumpers need to be placed on the edge connector.
