The IS200ESELH1A GE Speedtronic Mark VI is an exciter collector card. It functions as a power circuit board in a turbine management systems.
The IS200ESELH1A is connected to an EMIO board and thus receives six logic level gate signals. This model is an IS200ESELH1 and only contains a single bridge driver. If while in the power conversion cabinet there are redundant controls, two ESEL boards will need to be used.
The IS200ESEL Exciter Selector Board (ESEL) mounts in the control rack and receives six logic level gate pulse signals from its corresponding master I/O (EMIO) board. It then uses the pulse signals to drive six sets of cables which are distributed to the exciter gate pulse amplifier (EGPA) boards.
The IS200ESELH1A board is very reliable and so less prone to damage. But the improper handling and poor storage can affect the functionality of the card. So that we recommend keeping the cards in static sensitive storage boxes in recommended conditions.
