Product Description
The IQS 451, 452, and 453 signal conditioner contains an HF modulator and demodulator. This component creates a driving signal for the connected proximity transducer. The driving signal produces an electromagnetic field at the transducer tip. Using the eddy current principle, it measures the distance between the tip and its target. When this gap changes, the conditioner produces a changing signal that matches the target's movement.
The system receives power from connected processor modules or a rack power supply. The conditioner's circuits are constructed with reliable components housed and sealed inside a solid aluminum casing, providing protection from moisture and dust. For enhanced safety or multi-channel setups, various enclosure options are available in the accessory list.
