Description:
The 3500/42M Proximitor Seismic Monitor protects your machinery. It constantly checks machine readings against your set alarm limits. If a reading is too high, it triggers an alarm. It also sends important machine information to both the operations and maintenance teams.
The 3500/42M takes signals from two types of sensors: proximity probes and seismic transducers. It processes these signals to measure vibration and position. It then compares these processed signals to alarms that you can set yourself.
You can set up each channel with the 3500 Rack Configuration Software. It can monitor many things, like radial vibration, thrust position, and velocity. For each type of measurement, you can usually set an "Alert" alarm. For any two of them, you can also set a more serious "Danger" alarm.
