Product Description
Eccentricity measures how much a shaft is bent at slow-roll speed. It can be caused by a fixed mechanical bend, a temporary thermal bend, or sag from the rotor sitting at rest, sometimes called gravity bow.
The 3300/40 Eccentricity Monitor continuously measures and displays rotor bow online. It works on most rotating and reciprocating machines and helps identify thermal or gravity bow. The monitor tracks one channel of eccentricity.
It shows two types of readings: direct eccentricity, which is the instant value, and peak-to-peak eccentricity, which is the difference between the highest and lowest bow points. The monitor also gives Gap Voltage and Threshold Voltage from the Keyphasor trigger point.
