SGA350M 2-Pole SMD Gas Discharge Tube 350V 500A Surge Protection 1206 Package
The SGA350M is a 2-pole surface mount SMD gas discharge tube (GDT) designed for high-voltage transient surge protection. This 1206 package device offers 350V breakdown voltage and 500A surge current capability, equivalent to B32-350-LF 2-electrode plasma arrestors.
Gas discharge tubes dissipate voltage transients through contained plasma gas. They feature high insulation resistance plus low capacitance and leakage to ensure minimal effect on normal equipment operation. These devices offer fast response to transient over-voltage events and can dissipate large amounts of energy, reducing the risk of equipment damage.
