1. EVA/POE solar film machine introduction

EVA/POE solar film machine design is very similar to EVA solar film machine. It can use 120 type, 150 type, 160 type and 180 type single screw extrusion lines. But please notice the features of POE are different from EVA material, so by using the same machine model, the output of POE solar film is lower than EVA solar film.

3. Mixing system of EVA/POE solar film production line

In order to produce qualified EVA/POE film, it requires formula. The formula contains different types of materials in different state. At this time, we can equip customers with whole set of mixing system, it contains a conical mixer and related feeders. Differences between POE film machine and EVA film machine

For people who are not in extrusion industry, they will probably think that the EVA solar film machine and POE solar film machine are the same machine model. But actually, they are different. If you know the features of EVA material and POE material, then you will also understand that the different features between EVA material and POE material cause their machine designs to be different.

Because the EVA film extrusion line has the features of low strength, high water vapor transmission rate and water absorption rate, and its poor weather resistance, it needs to be edge-sealed when used on double glass modules. However, water vapor will still pass through during normal use, resulting in the film atomization which affects the light transmittance and reduces the power generation of the module.

And POE has a new type of polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer with narrow relative molecular mass distribution and narrow comonomer distribution and controllable structure.

There are currently two types of POE film on the market. One is a non-crosslinked polyolefin packaging material that does not contain a crosslinking agent and uses a combination of functional polymers to make the material's heat resistance and adhesion meet the requirements of use. The other is a cross-linked polyolefin encapsulating material containing peroxide cross-linking agent or silane cross-linking agent and tackifier. This kind of film is similar to EVA film in terms of production technology and process.

Compared with EVA film, the biggest advantage of POE film machine is low water vapor transmission rate and high volume resistivity, which ensures the safety and long-term aging resistance of the module in high temperature and high humidity environment, so that the module can be used for a long time. Generally speaking, the performance of POE film machine is superior to EVA film machine.
