Industrial Sea Salt Production Plant
This high-efficiency salt production system processes raw sea salt, lake salt, or rock salt through comprehensive washing, grinding, drying, and packaging operations to produce refined table salt.
Production Process Overview
Raw Material Processing
Raw salt is loaded into the feed hopper and transferred via conveyor belt. A magnet removes metallic contaminants before the salt enters the specialized washing system.
Washing & Grinding
The screw washer removes major impurities, followed by wet grinding in hammer mills with saturated brine to create salt slurry. The slurry undergoes elutriation washing and thickening processes.
Drying & Additive Integration
After centrifugation to remove excess water, iodine solution is added during conveyance to the fluidized bed dryer. The drying process ensures uniform iodine distribution and complete moisture removal.
Final Processing & Packaging
Dried salt passes through vibro screening for classification. Free-flow agents are mixed in screw conveyors before final storage in silos. Automated packing machines handle both 1kg pouches and 50kg bags.
