Gabion Mesh Basket Introduction:
Gabion Mesh is also called gabion box, stone gabion mesh,gabion basket, hexagonal wire netting gabion and gabion wall etc.
According to its weave method, it includes hexagonal gabion mesh and welded gabion mesh. It also could be classified into gabion box, gabion mat( ), gabion mesh sack, hesco barrier (hesco bastion, flood barrier, security gabion) and terramesh system. Gabion mesh could be electro galvanized gabion mesh,hot dipped galvanized gabion mesh, zinc-aluminum-mischmetal (Zn-Al-MM) alloy gabion mesh (Galfan gabion mesh), polyester powder(PVC) coated gabion mesh and polyester powder(PVC) coated after galvanized gabion mesh etc.
For both of hexagonal gabion mesh and welded gabion mesh, field installation is quick and easy. In fact, welded type gabion’s installation time can be as much as 40% less than required by hexagonal type gabion. Unlike hexagonal type, Welded Gabion hold their shape better – they don’t bulge out when filled,they are easy to handle, which means more work,less labor and highter productivity.
Gabion Mesh Basket Surface Treatment:
1. Hot dip galvanized. The amount of zinc can reach 300g / m2. Strong antiseptic
2. Galfan (zinc aluminum alloy). This is divided into two materials, zinc-5% aluminum-mixed rare earth alloy steel wire, zinc-10% aluminum mixed rare earth alloy steel wire. Super corrosion resistance

Gabion Mesh Basket Applications:
The structure can be used for slope support, foundation pit support, mountain rock surface hanging net spraying, slope planting
(greening), railway highway isolation fence, it can also be made into box cages, net pads, used in rivers, Anti-scouring
protection for dams and sea ponds and cages for reservoirs and river closures.
