7.5kW to 30kW Three Phase 380V Solar Pump Inverter with 97% MPPT Efficiency for Irrigation Systems
This solar pumping system consists of a PV generator, pump, and solar pump inverter. Designed with the principle that storing water is more efficient than storing electricity, the system operates without batteries. It's designed to work with elevated water storage systems like water towers or uphill tank installations.
The PV generator converts solar irradiation into electrical energy to power the system. The pump drive controls system operation, converts DC power from solar modules to AC power for the pump, and adjusts output frequency in real-time based on sunlight intensity for maximum power point tracking (MPPT).
The system supports various pump types including centrifugal, axial flow, mixed flow, and deep well pumps, drawing water from wells, rivers, and lakes for irrigation, fountains, or direct storage.

For permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) operation:
- Set sensorless vector control mode: F0-01=2
- Configure PMSM motor parameters including rated frequency, voltage, current, back EMF, and stator resistance
- Set F2-10=1 (motor removable) or F2-10=2 (motor fixed) to initiate auto tuning
- Press RUN button to perform motor trial running
- Monitor running frequency and water yield - if sunlight is adequate but flow is low, reverse two motor wiring phases
