Product Description
Product Overview

Adopting advanced linear cryocooler technology, the C1210H HOT cooled infrared detector is equipped with a 1280×1024 megapixel focal plane and 10μm pixels. The megapixel resolution delivers a wide field of view, and the 10μm small pixel size enables high spatial resolution and long-range detection. The focal plane operates at 150K without sacrificing imaging quality, granting the detector superior SWaP performance. It supports fast cooling with a cooldown time as short as 3 minutes and maintains steady 3W power consumption. With an MTTF up to 25,000 hours for reliable continuous detection, it meets market requirements for long-duration operation, compact system integration, and high-definition thermal imaging.

About Us

SensorMicro is one of China's earliest companies researching antimonide-based Type-II superlattice (T2SL) cooled infrared detectors. It pioneered the mass production and engineering application of such detectors domestically, with proven capabilities in R&D and manufacturing of high-end advanced devices, including MWIR, LWIR, large-format arrays, and high-operating-temperature (HOT) detectors.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is infrared thermal imaging?

Infrared thermal imaging is a method of using infrared radiation and thermal energy to gather information about objects in order to formulate images of them, or to obtain temperature information of the objects, even in low-visibility environments.

2. What is an MCT/HgCdTe detector?

MCT, also called HgCdTe, refers to Mercury-Cadmium-Telluride, which is a chemical compound of cadmium telluride (CdTe) and mercury telluride (HgTe) and a common material in photodetectors. An MCT/HgCdTe detector is a photoconductive detector that operates in a cryogenic environment and can detect infrared radiation. It is more sensitive than thermal sensors.

3. What can infrared imaging be used for?
  • Night vision
  • Search & rescue
  • Non-destructive testing
  • Epidemic prevention
  • Thermography
  • Security & monitoring
  • Firefighting
