The wagon unloading system is of turn-back type and through type. The empty train line is used for the turnback dumper system. After the empty rail car is unloaded, the empty wagon is moved to the empty rail car line through the transverse shifter, and then pushed out from the transverse shifter to the empty car line and collected by the empty car pusher. The system includes a car dumper, side arm charger, traverser, empty car propeller, wheel gripper, etc. There is no empty car line in the through layout, and the empty car is pushed to the other side of the car dumper by the side arm charger for collection after unloading. The layout type is determined by the land occupation and general layout of the site
