Ferrosilicon Description
Ferro silicon is from quartz, coke as raw materials by electric furnace. Si and oxygen is easily to be compound into SiO2, and Fe can be used directly into liquid steel, Ferrosilicon is used as a source of silicon to reduce metals from their oxides and to deoxidize steel and other ferro alloys. Moreover, ferro silicon also can be used as an alloy element joining agent in low alloy structural steel, spring steel, bearing steel, heat-resistant steel and electrical silicon steel.
