Ferro Manganese Description
High Carbon Ferro Manganese is an alloy composed of manganese and iron. It is produced by blast furnace method and electric furnace. Ferromanganese is also a commonly used deoxidizer in iron and steel. Manganese has a desulphurizing effect and can be used to reduce the harmful effects of sulfur. Ferromanganese is an important alloying agent, widely used in structural steel, tool steel, stainless steel, heat resistant steel, wear resistant steel and other alloy steel.
Ferro Manganese Application:
1.Ferro manganese is an indispensable cheap deoxidizer and desulfurizer in the steelmaking industry.
2.High carbon ferro manganese is used as a raw material for the production of low carbon ferroalloys.
3.Used as an inoculant and nodulizer for cast iron, prevent the formation of carbides, improve the properties of cast iron.

According to their carbon content is divided into three categories, low-carbon: carbon no more than 0.7%; medium carbon: carbon not greater than 0.7% to 2.0%; high carbon: carbon no more than 2.0% to 8.0%.

1.Conventional packing ton bag or small bag inside ton bags(20,25,50 kg per bag).
2.Special product can use moistureproof bags or barel moistureproof bags.
