Ferror Chorme Description

Ferro Chrome(FeCr) is an iron alloy composed of chromium and iron. It is an important alloy additive for steelmaking.According to different carbon content, ferro chrome can be divided into high-carbon ferrochrome , low-carbonferrochrome , Micro-carbon ferrochrome .The lower the carbon content of ferrochrome, the more difficult it is to smelt, the higher the power consumption, and the higher the cost.

Ferrochrome with a carbon content of less than 2% is suitable for smelting stainless steel, acid-resistant steel andother low-carbon chromium steels. Ferrochrome with a carbon content of more than 4% is commonly used to make ball bearing steeland steel for auto parts.

1. Foundry-grade ferrochrome containing around 62-66% chromium and almost 5% carbon is used for producing cast irons.

2. Our good quality high carbon ferrochrome is used in the manufacturing of ball-bearing steels, tool steels as well as other alloy steels.

3. Ferrochrome alloy is also used when more chromium is needed to be added to carbon steel.

4. Apart from making stainless steel, low carbon ferro chrome is also used in the manufacturing of acid-resistant steels.

Packing & Delivery

1. Conventional packing ton bag or small bag inside ton bags(20,25,50 kg per bag).

2. Special product can use moistureproof bags or barel moistureproof bags.
