Silicon Calcium Description
Calcium silicon is an ideal symbol deoxidation and desulphurization, but also to improve the steel property, enhance steel ductility, impact toughness and mobility. Applied to high-quality steel, special steel and special alloy production. Calcium silicon is also suitable for converter steel plant as a warming agent, calcium alloy also be used as inoculant and additives in cast iron and ductile iron production.

Silicon Calcium Function
1. Since calcium has a strong affinity with oxygen, sulfur, hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon in liquid steel, silicon calcium alloy is mainly used for deoxidization, degassing and fixation of sulfur in steel fluid.
2. It is widely used in high quality steel, low carbon steel, stainless steel production and nickel base alloy, titanium alloy and other special alloy production.
3. In cast iron production,the calcium silicon alloy have inoculation effect.helped to form fine grained or spheroidal graphite; in the grey cast iron Graphite distribution uniformity,reduce chilling tendency,and can increase silicon,desulfurization,improve the quality of cast iron.
