Barium Silicon Description
Ferro Silicon Barium (FeSiBa) can increase the degree of eutectic undercooling, refining the eutectic cluster, promoting graphite nucleation, strengthen the pearlite matrix, improving the material properties, and significantly improving the strength performance and casting performance of gray cast iron and high-temperature resistant ferrous silicon alloys, and silicon steel for electromotors and transformer cores. In manufacture of cast iron, ferrosilicon is used for inoculation of the iron to accelerate graphitization. In arc welding, ferrosilicon can be found in some electrode coatings.

Barium Silicon Use
1. Strongly increase the graphitized core, refine graphite, promote the production of a-type graphite in gray cast iron, improve the strength, for nodular cast iron can make graphite in nodular iron small, round, improve the level of spheroidization.
2.Barium Silicon Inoculant can effectively reduce the supercooling degree of hot metal, promote the precipitation of graphite, significantly reduce the tendency of white hole, reduce the relative hardness, and improve the cutting performance of castings.
3.The sensitivity of wall thickness is small, the uniformity of section is improved, and the tendency of shrinkage and loosening is reduced.
