Silicon Calcium Description

Barium can effectively reduce the vapor pressure of calcium in the steelmaking temperature range and increase the solubility of calcium in steel liquid. Compared with the silicon calcium alloy, the calcium content in the steel solution is about twice that of the silicon calcium alloy when the calcium content is even half that of the silicon calcium alloy, and calcium is also significantly increased in the steel solution. It is shown that barium is effective in protecting calcium and reducing the oxidation of calcium.

Si Al Ba Ca Alloy Features:

Si-Al-Ba-Ca is the most effective deoxidizer and desulfurizer in the Barium alloy.

It can extremely reduce the oxygen in the steel and make the complicated oxide contains

Ca/Ba/Si/Al easier to flow from the molten steel, so as to pure the steel and improve its toughness.
