Ferrosilicon Nitride Description

The ferrosilicon nitride is composed of Si3N4 as a main component, accompanied by a mixture of free iron, non-silicon nitride and a small amount of other components. The refractory ferrosilicon nitride is a gray-white (or tea-brown) powder, and the ferrosilicon nitride used in steelmaking is a gray-white granular.

1.Ferro silicon nitride is the additive for production of silicon steel.Mixed in metal melt, it can make metal have good room temperature and low temperature strength, good corrosion and thermal shock resistance.

2.FeSi-nitride powder is an important raw material for the production of tap-hole clays for blast furnaces, has an outstanding feature of sintering-supporting,anti-erosion, low-cost.

3.The product applies to smelting of stainless steel,special alloy steel,special fireproof material;and used widely in national defense industry, electronic industry and foundry industries.
