Silicon metal, also known as crystalline silicon or industrial silicon, is mainly used as an additive for non-ferrous base Alloys .Silicon Metal 2202 is high grade silicon metal.It's silicon content is above 99.5%. The ferro content is 0.2%, the aluminum content is 0.2%, and the calcium content is 0.02%.

1.Most silicon 2202 grade is purchased from aluminum plants. Adding silicon to aluminum improves the toughness of aluminum. And can be used in a variety of ways.
