Silicon slag refers to the remaining part after refining the raw ore, which is a by-product of the production process of metallic silicon and ferrosilicon.Silicon slag can be deep processed into agglomerates, lumps, or powders according to customer requirements
Application of Silicon Slag:
1. Silicon slag is a good substitute for ferrosilicon in steelmaking and can reduce production costs.
2. The silicon slag powder can be made into pellet-like silicon powder, which has a broad market at home and abroad. It can significantly increase furnace temperature, effectively increase fluidity and discharge iron slag.
3. Si slag can be used as deoxidizer in steelmaking.
