The UV weathering resistance test chamber performs accelerated aging tests on plastics, coatings, and rubber materials by simulating sunlight, rain, and dew environments. This equipment replicates outdoor conditions that typically take months or years to occur in just days or weeks, enabling rapid assessment of material degradation including fading, color changes, loss of luster, chalking, cracking, wrinkling, blistering, embrittlement, strength reduction, and oxidation.
Test results support material selection, improvement of existing materials, and evaluation of formulation changes.

UV-B 313 provides simulated sunlight ultraviolet aging with greater intensity than UV-A, delivering significantly higher damage potential.
