site conditions before installation

1,There is a reliable grounding system, and the grounding resistance is measured on the grounding stake (strip) of the distribution cabinet (SPD installation), and the resistance should meet the national standard.

2,Space should be left in the distribution cabinet for the installation of SPD.

Note: L is the fire wire, N is the zero wire, E is the ground wire.

Precautions after installation

1,Check if the air switch is turned off and carry out to make sure the SPD is in working condition.

2,Do not install in thunderstorm.

Maintenance

This product is installed in parallel in the line, and its operation should be checked regularly, especially after thunderstorms. The inspection is divided into appearance inspection and performance test.

Appearance inspection. Each lightning protection module has deterioration indication. When working normally: the indicator is green; after aging: the indicator goes out. the SPD should be replaced in time after aging.

Performance testing. According to the national lightning protection code, test at least once a year, and measure V1mA and IL≤20μA of L-PE and N-PE respectively with lightning protection element tester as qualified.
