1.Classification according to rock stratum
The fundamental role of the pick is to cut coal and rock. The type of pick required varies with the hardness of coal seam or rock stratum. Generally speaking, we can divide the picks into coal picks, half rock picks, whole rock picks (reinforcing picks), hard rock picks, etc. Each type of pick corresponds to one geological condition.
2.Picks are applicable to different industries. According to the industry classification, they can be roughly divided into two categories: mining picks and engineering picks. Mining picks are mainly used for mining coal in coal mines, and engineering picks are mainly used for highway maintenance and construction.
