Medium-Strength Steel Heavy Hex Head Screws for Structural Applications

The most common heavy hex head screw, these steel screws meet ASTM A325 regulations for structural joints, such as mating I-beams and scaffolding. Material meets ASTM F3125 specifications for quality. Dimensions meet ASME B18.2.6 specifications. Length is measured from under the head.

Usually fit with ASTM A194 2H Nut and F436 Washer.

Partially threaded screws come with precise threaded and unthreaded portions, allowing you to place only the stronger unthreaded portion (grip) in joints subjected to sideways forces.

Hot-dipped galvanized screws have a thick coating for excellent corrosion resistance. To ensure compatibility, use these screws with hot-dipped galvanized steel nuts.
