The shape of the hexalobular recess can withstand high tightening torque.

Self-tapping screws create their own female thread during installation when screwing into ready made holes without creating any chips.

This creates an optimum screw connection in steel,die cast metal,aluminium,brass and copper with minimal installation costs.

Features:

The self-tapping screws should be made from cold extrusion steels.

The core hardness will be 290 HV10 to 370 HV10.

The surface hardness will be at least 450 HV0.3 after the heat treatment.
