Wind Energy Fasteners Grade A4-80 Metric Nylon Insert Full Hex Lock Nut ISO7040 Made In China.
Nylon insert locknuts are produced by forming and tapping nuts that include a tubular feature on top that receives a nylon ring.
The tubular top is crimped to capture and hold the ring from spinning while the mating part self threads into the nylon during assembly.
As compared to stainless steel grade 304,grade 316 provides better overall corrosion resistant properties.This holds true particularly as grade 316 stainless steel has a higher resistance to both pitting as well as crevice corrosion in chloride environments.
