How does the Wire Mesh Demister Pad work?

When steam carrying entrainment droplets flows through the EIT grid, but the inertia of the droplets causes them to contact the wire surface and remain there for a short time. As more droplets come together, they grow larger, run off, and fall free. Mist eliminator Mist eliminator is suitable for specific process conditions and can achieve 99.9% entrained liquid separation from any steam flow, ensuring product purity at the top of the tower. Pressure drop usually less than 25.4 mm H2O (1 inch WC)
