When compressed, layered, calendered, or wound the braided mesh filter, liquid or gas flows through the filter in a "zigzagging" path. This increases filtration capacity and particle retention. "Inconel", "Monel", "Nylon", "Hastelloy" and "Teflon" are registered product names of their respective trademark holders. Mesh diameter Mesh is usually woven with steel wire between 0.0035 inches and 0.0200 inches in diameter. For special applications, the braided wires of Jumao metal products vary in diameter from 0.0005 inches to 0.0350 inches. These wires can be round or flat, such as polycene mesh for cleaning and wires for air filtration applications that require large surface areas. The flattened surface area of the round wire is about twice that of the round wire. With a wide selection of braided mesh filter materials, JUMAO is capable of producing high temperature gaskets suitable for temperatures up to and above 1000°C (1832°F)
