This kit is a lateral flow immunoassay intended for the qualitative detection of neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 in human serum, plasma, venous whole blood or peripheral whole blood.
Upon infection with SARS-CoV-2, the host mounts an immune response against the virus, typically including production of specific antibodies against viral antigens. IgM and IgG antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 appear to arise nearly simultaneously in blood. There is significant inter-individual difference in the levels and chronological appearance of antibodies in COVID-19 patients, but median seroconversion has been observed at approximately 2 weeks.
The novel coronavirus neutralizing antibodies are protective antibody produced by the human body after inoculation with novel coronavirus vaccine or infection with novel coronavirus. The kit is used to monitor the presence of neutralizing antibodies in subjects vaccinated with the novel coronavirus vaccine or in people infected with the novel coronavirus, it can be used to evaluate the immune effect after vaccination or whether neutralizing antibodies are produced in human body after infection with novel coronavirus.
