ZTA cold bitumen is mainly used for mixing and producing cold asphalt mix and warm asphalt mix. Regardless of AC-10 mix, or AC-13 mix, or even AC-16 mix can be used to produce cold patch asphalt.
Cold Bitumen is a 100% active ingredient product specially designed for the production of cold patch materials. It can form an effective combination of asphalt and aggregates. Cold Bitumen can repel moisture on wet or even wet stone surfaces, and increase the binding and spalling resistance of asphalt and various acidic and alkaline stones.

The Pre-mix cold bitumen is heated to 50-60 degrees Celsius. The aggregate is determined to be heated according to the air temperature. The aggregate does not need to be heated if the ambient temperature is above 25 degrees Celsius. Otherwise, the aggregate is properly heated to about 60 degrees Celsius. Mixing temperature is 50-60 degrees Celsius and it can not exceed 60 degrees Celsius. The dosage of cold bitumen is 4.3% of cold asphalt mixture weight.
