Soy peptone is an enzymatic hydrolyzate of soybean meal designed as a nitrogen source for industrial fermentation. Naturally occurring polyphenols in soybeans may be potential inhibitors of certain bacterial strains.
White to pale yellow powder, easily soluble in water, easy to absorb moisture, high adhesive performance.

The quality of alcohol received in the testing just slightly inferior to other competitors for lower ABV application.
It is rich in nutrients needed for bacterial metabolism. Sources of organic nitrogen in culture media for industrial fermentation, e.g. for the production of antibiotic drugs, etc.
It is a meat-free alternative to traditional peptones.
