Free-pyro black LiTaO3 wafers are specifically engineered for Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Interdigital Transducer (IDT) applications. These wafers undergo chemical reduction under a mixed CO2 and H2 atmosphere, effectively eliminating pyroelectric effects while maintaining essential piezoelectric properties.
