Product Overview
High-precision fused silica and fused quartz wafers available in diameters from 3" to 13" with double-side polishing and surface roughness Ra ≤1nm. These wafers offer exceptional optical transmission, thermal resistance, and chemical purity for demanding industrial applications.
Material Specifications
UV Grade Fused Silica
Manufactured from full synthetic material using CVD melting method with very low trace metal content. Features high heat resistance and broad transmission range (>85% @185nm, >90% from 200nm to 2000nm). Common grades include JGS1, Corning 7980, and SK1300.
IR Grade Fused Silica
Features transmission from 185nm to 350nm with very low OH content (
Fused Quartz
Offers low OH content, good chemical purity, and high heat resistance with transmission from 260nm to 2100nm. JGS2 grade commonly used. Available up to 12" (300mm) diameter with excellent flatness, surface roughness, TTV, bow, and warp characteristics.
