BonTek specializes in manufacturing customized 6-inch and 8-inch piezoelectric wafers for semiconductor POI (Patterned Oxide Isolation) and MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) applications. Our wafers utilize both direct and inverse piezoelectric effects for precise electromechanical performance.
Piezoelectric Technology
Direct Piezoelectric Effect: When mechanical force is applied to the dielectric material, it generates electrical charge on specific surfaces. The charge polarity changes with force direction.
Inverse Piezoelectric Effect: When an electric field is applied to the polarized dielectric, it produces mechanical deformation or stress that disappears when the field is removed.

- Open vacuum packages in clean room environments only
