Flexo Printer Slotter
In modern corrugated board system, paper rolls are automatically replaced by splicing equipment (also known as splice). The name comes from the English word "to splice", which means "connection" or "splicing", a navigational term used to connect ropes or weave holes.
When the old roll runs on one arm of the unwinding rack, the new volume is ready for replacement. The beginning of the new reel paper is pulled over a roller into the "adhesive car", inhaled through a vacuum, and ready to stick to both sides of the tape. The starting part of the roll prepared in this way is then brought close to the "old" paper that is still in operation.
