Backlit Channel Letter Signs Led Back Illuminated Sign Board
Back lit/half lit letter are signs mostly used indoor and outdoor. Made of either stainless steel, brass, aluminum or acrylic material for both the front and return sides. The finish can be brushed, polished or painted color giving more options to meet the customer’s needs/demands.
Back-lit channel letters are made of a combination of metal and acrylic. Metal being the top half and acrylic as the bottom half to achieve the half lit effect that is visible from the side/return of the sign.
There are different mounting options for installation:
- Direct/flush mount - Letters are individually mounted on the wall.
- Wireway - Slim rectangular mounting that provides a larger footprint on the wall where all electrical components are contained.
The letters have a depth from 2cm or 8cm. Unlike the halo lit letter, this sign can be mounted directly to the surface without the use of spacers and still gives off that crisp and precise backlit effect, making it a modern version of the half lit letter. Clear or opal acrylic is what the back of the sign is made of with the LED light inside it for the execution of the half lit effect.
