Self Locking Slewing Drive Description
Self locking slewing drive featured with multi tooth contact worm gear, no need of brake inside the drivers. That will improve the safety of the solar tracking system.
The slewing drives have many types such as enclosed type, open housing type, vertical type, dual axis type, high precision type, worm drive type etc. The enclosed hourglass worm type is most popular in the application of solar tracking system. The slewing drive is based on the worm and worm gear stuucture with strong tilting moment torque and static self-locking function. Multi tooth contact surface is designed specially for driving high load.
