Worm Drive Slew Drive Description
Solar tracking systems include single axis solar tracking system and dual axis solar tracking system. The single axis solar tracking system include tilted and flat single tracking system.
For a dual axis solar tracking system, based on differenct bracket structure, three types of slew drives solutions could be applied:
1. use two horizontal (SE type) single axis slew drives.
2. use one horizontal (SE type) and another vertical (VE type).
3. use a dual axis slew drive.(SDE Type)
All of those solutions can achieve tracking the sun both vertically and horizontally, that means tracking the sun all the time with direct sunlight.
